This wet filter improves the quality of still images and video when not using an artificial light source. Reduces cyan cast for more natural colors and contrasts. A great accessory for snorkelers. Use manual white balance to adjust the color temperature of your photos.
The filter is mounted on the lens port of the housing and held in place by the thread. Use with an appropriate adapter if necessary.
Water absorbs light as it passes through it, and the deeper you go, the more light is absorbed, especially in the red and orange wavelengths. A purple filter compensates for this by blocking out some of the blue and green light, allowing more red and orange light to reach the camera's sensor. This results in more vivid and accurate colors in the final image or video. Purple filters are particularly useful when shooting in deeper water or when trying to capture the true colors of marine life.
Notification: Pls kindly know that the 67 mm RED / PURPLE filter can only be used with seatouch 4 max housing ,do not fit seatouch 3 Pro housing
